RY4 a classic sweet tobacco blend
RY4 presents a traditional e-liquid flavour profile that combines tobacco, caramel, and vanilla. It is widely considered the first “gourmet” or “dessert tobacco” e-liquid and remains a staple for those transitioning from smoking and wanting a familiar yet smoother, sweeter experience.
The tobacco has a mild, slightly smoky base similar to Virginia or Turkish tobacco.
It was originally developed in China around 2007 by perfumer Ludo Timmermans. Ludo reportedly created several test batches. The fourth formula was considered the “perfect” blend, hence the number 4. Generally, the higher the number, the sweeter the blend, with RY1 being the most tobacco-rich and RY10 focusing on desserts.
Recommended dosage: 3-5 % of final e-liquid
